 As their journey continues, Robert Stuart and his men observe the fishing methods of the Snake Indians and write with great expression of the salmon runs in the middle Snake Region. The men are hopeful and anxious to find a cache of clothing, ammunition, and food hidden the previous season by one of their men. |
