Explore Lewis & Clark's historic expedition through the Pacific Northwest. Meet York, Sacagawea, Seaman, and Charbonneau as they travel to the Pacific Ocean.
 
 
Chapter 1: Expedition Origins
Congress approves further exploration of the Missouri River and a water route to the Pacific Ocean. Captains Lewis and Clark are selected to lead the Corps of Discovery expedition and begin their journey on May 14, 1804.

Chapter 2: The Northern Rockies
The Corps of Discovery reaches the Continental Divide. Trade provisions with the Shoshone for horses, are desperately needed to transport the expedition across the Rocky Mountains.

Chapter 3: The Columbia Plateau
The Corps reaches the Pacific Ocean and the captains hold an election among all the expedition members including York and Sacagawea to determine the location of their winter camp. They establish winter headquarters at Fort Clatsop and salt camp ten miles further south in preparation of a spring return to the East.
